You are the creator of your own reality
Choosing who we want to be it’s often taken for granted. Most people don’t realise that they have a choice and as result they start blaming others. It’s either the big U (Universe for clarity) or other people’s actions. Sounds familiar? We very often find excuses to justify our current circumstances, lack of action, justify our procrastination, apathy, not achieving our goals, not eating heathy, not exercising and so on.
But if you’re willing to look inside and own it (I know, it’s not always pretty) you’ll realise that you have a CHOICE
You can choose progression over perfection
You can choose overcoming life’s many hurdles over feeling overwhelmed
You can choose to take action or complain about your situation
You can choose self-compassion, self-love or beating yourself up
You can choose compassion and forgiveness or holding grudges
You can choose to take control of your situation or become a victim of your own circumstances
You can choose to always see the bright side in a not so good situation or be completely negative about it
You can choose to become the best version of yourself or obsessively comparing yourself to other people
You can choose to take action, small decisive steps towards your goal or keep waiting till the time is ‘right’
You can choose for health, exercising and wellbeing to be a part of your life or let it control you and make you feel miserable
You can choose to adapt to situations, be resilient and learn from it or constantly moan about your ‘bad luck’
You can choose to do what needs doing or obsess about everything that can be done and feel like you cannot do it
You can choose empowerment, learning from other people around you or being spiteful and hateful
You can choose to make the journey fun and enjoyable rather than focusing on the destination to provide the supreme joy
You can choose to find happiness within, love and accept yourself or look outside hoping someone else will make you feel ‘complete’
You can choose to change something TODAY, not tomorrow or later. Very often later becomes never.
You are making choices every day, so what is it going to be?
Don’t just read this and think “Hmm..yeah this sounds interesting, I’ll apply it someday”. CHOOSE to take action, actively choose what the end destination will be.
